I hope it's happy news. Like you've become a dad or found a goldmine while playing minecraft or something of that magnitude :-)

So I have a question for the community. We've got the new terrain system in (Rikard will post more on this later today I believe.) We've also got in the point sprites and other lingering items. We could do a 0.7 push now... or considering we just swapped out the terrain system, perhaps we should let the dust settle for a little bit first. Any opinions?

My suggestion would be to release 0.7 now (within the next seven days) and if some fixes are needed for the terrain system then you release 0.7.1. :)

FYI. I'm putting up a page on the wiki about the terrain. Just an overview first and then more details later on as I find the time. Should be up this weekend.

0.7 is released in nexus. Our trunk is officially 0.8-SNAPSHOT. :) I will put up the official release notes later on tonight.

edit: ok, obviously by tonight I meant tomorrow...

Well, I'll post here instead of my blog. It's certainly off topic, so forgive me for posting it in this thread. Basically, Ardor Labs has been working hard on the server side of a new strategy Flash-based game for a local Austin game company. It's actually a very compelling game and good, steady work (nearly enough to keep the lights on! heh) that might lead to additional games that would hopefully include 3d graphics, but of course in the meantime it has drawn away some attention from other things. :-/

I've been holding off mentioning it on my blog because I was waiting for the open-beta, which has been pushed off a few times by the publisher. It's supposed to be soon though, and I'll definitely blog more about it when that comes.
